They have the cases/prep material already prepared so it will be minimal preparation needed on the resident behalf other than reading the material beforehand. If residents have not done the ICR sessions before, it is a nice opportunity to experience medical education/mentorship at an introductory level and can be an item on their OER/FITREP.
